Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2, 2026

This Policy explains what Caseloop (“we”, “us”), operated by [Your legal name / entity], collects and how we use it. By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

  • Account: your email address and a securely hashed version of your password (we never store your actual password).
  • Content you create: interview transcripts, prep-coach conversations, job descriptions and setup details you enter, scored feedback, any questions you submit, and reviews/feedback you send.
  • Usage: which features you use, request timestamps, and AI token/cost metering used to enforce limits and operate billing.
  • Payment: if you buy Pro or credits, our processor (Stripe) handles your card details — we do not receive or store card numbers. We store a Stripe customer identifier and your plan/credit status.
  • Technical: essential cookies for login sessions and security (CSRF). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

2. How we use it

To provide and operate the Service (run interviews, generate feedback), enforce usage limits, process payments, provide support, keep the Service secure, and improve it. We do not sell your personal information.

3. AI processing (important)

To generate interview questions, follow-ups, and feedback, the content you submit (such as your answers and pasted job descriptions) is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, for processing. Please avoid entering sensitive personal information you don’t want processed this way. See Anthropic’s policies at anthropic.com/legal/privacy.

4. Service providers (sub-processors)

  • Anthropic — AI processing of your inputs to generate responses and feedback.
  • Stripe — payment processing (stripe.com/privacy).
  • Fly.io — application hosting and data storage.

5. Data retention

We keep your account and content while your account is active so your history is available to you. If you delete your account or ask us to delete your data, we remove it (except where we must retain limited records for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes).

6. Security

Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. Traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and the database is stored on an encrypted volume. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

7. Your rights

You can access your history in the app, and you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (e.g., under GDPR or CCPA).

8. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. International users

Your data may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy; we’ll update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide notice where appropriate.
